If you are taking the train towards downtown Montreal, it is a bit complicated. After getting off the bus at the terminal, you should go inside the bus station and then go downstairs, then go through a small tunnel with a green house inside.It would take some time to figure out the right ticket from the self service machine and there is no ticket office, no one to ask if you are confusing.
It's comfortable but trains don't come very often especially outside of rush hour times.
Make sure to follow the GPS..after the roundabout turn on the first tiny road, on the right immediately after the lights..not where the bus stations are !!( train de banlieu AMT is), it may confuse you from the GPS says you have arrived it's just 30mt... actually it's not it.One may have to walk a bit to the C section to get to the Via Rail.
Please update the Google data. I took an uber ride depending on the info for the address that Google provided. Please don't confuse Gare Dorval (operated by Montreal city transit) with address 900 Cardinal Avenue with the Via Rail Dorval Station with address 755 Boulevard Montreal-Toronto, Dorval QC. I almost missed my train due to this colossal confusion. Please fix the bad data here.
